Cookie policy

This site sets no cookies at all. The one thing kept in your browser is the light/dark switch you pressed, and it never leaves your device.

This site sets no cookies

Not "only essential ones". None. There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel, no social widget, no consent-management platform, and nothing that profiles you. You can check it: open your browser's developer tools, look at Application → Cookies, and the list for this domain is empty.

What is stored in your browser

One entry in localStorage, named tci-theme, holding the word light or dark.

  • Why it exists: so the site does not flash the wrong theme at you on your next visit.
  • What it contains: one word. No identifier, no session, nothing that can be linked to a person.
  • Where it goes: nowhere. localStorage is never transmitted to a server, unlike a cookie.
  • How to remove it: clear site data in your browser. The site keeps working and simply follows your system theme.

Under the ePrivacy Directive and the Italian Garante's guidelines, consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary — tracking, profiling, measurement. A functional preference the user set themselves, which never leaves the device, falls under the technical exemption.

So a banner here would ask you to consent to something that does not exist. We would rather publish this page than train you to click "Accept" without reading. If we ever add analytics, the banner arrives in the same change as the analytics — not later.

Third parties

Two external services are involved, and neither one runs on the page:

  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives a contact form submission at the moment you press send, and only then. It is not loaded while you read.
  • Our host serves the files and keeps standard server logs.

Fonts, stylesheets, scripts and images are served from this domain — there is no CDN call, so no third party sees your visit at all.
