What the numbers claim, what they do not, and how to get something corrected. Written to be read, not to be survived.

What this site is

The Corpus Index publishes a monthly measurement of the independent web pages that AI assistants read when answering buying questions about field service management software. It is editorial research, published in the interest of buyers and vendors alike. By using the site you accept the terms below.

What the numbers mean — and what they do not

This is the most important section on the page, so it comes first and plainly. The full version is on the disclaimer page.

  • A vendor's share of AI sources measures how often that vendor is named in a defined corpus of public pages. Nothing more.
  • It is not a judgement of the vendor's product, service, financial standing, or fitness for any purpose.
  • A low share means the measured sources rarely name that vendor. It does not mean the software is worse, and we never say that it does.
  • The corpus is a sample of the public web collected at a point in time. Assistants differ from one another and answers move week to week. The declared limits are in the method.

Independence

No vendor pays for placement, ranking, inclusion or removal, and no vendor sees an edition before it is published. Paid audits are sold to vendors, and buying one changes nothing in the public index — not the ranking, not the wording, not the questions. If that ever ceased to be true, it would be disclosed here first.

Corrections and right of reply

If you are a vendor and you believe a number, a fact or a characterisation on this site is wrong, write to hello@thecorpusindex.com and point at the page. Corrections are free, checked against the corpus, and applied to the next edition; where a published figure was materially wrong we say so on the page rather than silently editing it. A vendor may also send a short statement of reply, which we will publish alongside its page.

Names and trademarks

Vendor names, product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here descriptively, to identify the companies being measured. Their use does not imply affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those owners.

The index links to independent pages as evidence. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement. Source links carry rel="nofollow".

Using our numbers

You may quote figures, tables and short extracts with clear attribution to The Corpus Index and a link to the page you took them from. You may not republish the index wholesale, resell it, or scrape the site in bulk automatically. The methodology, the question set, the curated domain lists and the generated pages remain ours. © 2026 The Corpus Index, all rights reserved.

No warranty, and limits of liability

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. It is research, not professional advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you have a complaint, write to us first: almost everything is settled faster that way than by anyone's lawyer.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms.
